ARM9 processor based Industrial Single Board Computer
(SBC1926)
This is a compact
Industrial computer with a powerful processor, lot of memory and several
interfaces like USB host and device, Ethernet LAN interface and so on. This
Industrial computer integrates a powerful processor, an FPGA, lot of memory and
optically isolated I/O on a single board – hence it is perfect solution for Industrial Control and
Automation.
The board also
provides lot of non-volatile storage options: you may connect a pen-drive to
USB host interface. The USB host interface can be also used for connecting keyboard and mouse.
The board runs Linux,
so you may develop Linux based applications to access the on-board I/O as well
as other high end peripherals like USB and Ethernet.
We
also offer training course on Embedded
Linux on ARM. This board is used for some illustrations during this
training course. The course will enable you to write Linux based applications
that run on this board or other similar hardware.
If
you are looking for Single Board Computer with PC/104
interface, then SBC9302 is the right solution for
you. SBC9302 and SBC1926 boards have been designed to meet 2 different
requirements:
·
SBC9302: provides more versatile interfaces, but only a
few I/O pins, that too TTL (3.3V level) without optical isolation. But, thanks
to PC/104 interface, provides more flexibility to expand. It is very easy and
convenient to add PC/104 modules for I/O, for display interface (LCD or VGA
monitor) and so on.
·
SBC1926 (i.e. this board): provides optically isolated
I/O and 400K gates FPGA on board, but does not have PC/104 interface. Thus
expansion possibilities are limited.
We
also make general purpose Evaluation Boards based on
ARM micro-controllers.
